This Article will attempt to help you configure your Bittorrent configuration line under GTSDLL, or just understand what the default one means if you're interested :)

First of all, lets see all the diffrent info GTSDLL can display for the DEFAULT BitTorrent client, made by Brem Cohen (NOTE: this also appiles for the Multi-client Bittorrent builds, like ABC, which is also known as Yet Another Bittorent Client) :

There are two lines for this, since there are two modes that BT works in -
1) While Allocating Space or checking an existing file :

[file]       filename .
[size]       size of file .
[pc]       progress in percentage .
[eltime]      'allocating...' or 'checking existing file' , according to what BT is doing .

2) While Downloading :

[file]       filename .
[size]       size of file .
[pc]       progress in percentage .
[kbsdn]      download speed in KB/s .
[kbsup]        upload speed in KB/s .
[eltime]      elapsed time  .

A general option That works in both is the progress bar. When placed, it shows a small ( or big, depends on your selection :p ) bar that shows how much have you downloaded :

[bar=length,progress-color,progress-left-color]

Length is the total size of the bar (100% of the download), progress-color is the color for the part of the bar that you have already downloaded from the file, and progress-left-color is the color of the part that remains to be downloaded. note you can skip coloring by using -1 instead of a color number.

These Are The Default mIRC Color Table. Colors may differ in scripts .

Ok, now that we've gone over the default BitTorrent client, which is more basic and has less features,
lets go over the experimental ones, like Eric's BitTorrent Experimental Client & TheShadow's Experimental Client :

Here, Too, There are two lines for the two modes that the Experimental BT Clients work in -
1) While Allocating Space or checking an existing file :

[file]       FileName .
[size]       Size of file .
[pc]       Progress in percent .
[eltime]       elapsed time since the download started .
[estime]      'allocating...' or 'checking existing file' according to what the client is doing .

2) While Downloading :

[file]       filename .
[size]       size of file .
[pc]       progress in percentage .
[tdn]      progress in MB or 'Seeding' After the download had finished .
[kbsdn]      download speed in KB/s .
[dned]       downloaded data in Megabytes .
[kbsup]      upload speed in KB/s .
[uped]       uploaded data in Megabytes .
[peers]       Number of peers you are connected to .
[seeds]      Number of seeds you are connected to .
[eltime]      elapsed time since the download started .
[estime]     estimated time left or 'Download succeeded!' when seeding .
[sr]       share rating ( how much have you helped the community ;) )

The Progress Bar explanation applies here aswell :

[bar=length,progress-color,progress-left-color]

The Third & Last Feature that GTSDLL offers for both type of clients, is the BtTotals Command .
It Shows the overall Bandwidth usage for all currently running Torrents :

[down]       download speed in KB/s .
[up]       upload speed in KB/s .
[count]       # of Torrents Running .

Allright, We are done with BitTorrent's Configuration under GTSDLL. Enjoy ^.^

Go to /gtsdllsettings and click on the 2nd tab "Colors".  Click on the dropdown box and select "BitTorrent Totals" and then edit the line below it :)

Why would you want to remove that harmless ad? ;]

I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death, Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons, Yet those hands will never hold anything.

So as I pray... Unlimited Blade Works.

Don't think you can...GTSdll just gets info from the client...and to my knowledge, uTorrent hasn't got a Total Uploaded/Downloaded This Session column :P

Not as a column but the statusbar shows the total up- and downloads and speeds.

I made a pic of it: http: //mitglied.lycos.de/species0001/Pics/utorrent_traffic.png

would be nice. maybe in one of the next releases ;)

I´m hopeless about a answer here, but I will check this page often to see if someone reply´s... I just wanna know why some tags of the config line have a ? before it, and what this "?" does at all.
example: [?size] ([size]) [\size] ->>> why just simply [size] or ([size]) either? what this "?" does?
Tks for the good soul that reply´s!!! XD

[?size] ([size]) [\size] has one important point:
when [size] is empty it displays "no size" (happens rarely on torrents, that gtsdll isnt able to determine the size) but
its best to explain it using the config of the audio-player support:

Quote
You can make these appear only when they exist by placing two similar tags like this:

[?artist]Song is made by [artist], they rock ! *.* [\artist]
anything between the [?] and [\] tags would appear only if the right info exists, like artist name in
our example .

hope that helps
