Don't work anymore with MediaPlayer Classic

Hi :)

VideoPlayer status don't work anymore with MediaPlayer Classic (no problem with BSPlayer), i have "* no player running or no file opened" but a movie is playing :(, few days ago all was right

I have the lastest GTSDll (1.2.7.0 R2) and the lastest MPC.

Edit : I have install and remove COM Server for foobar, i don't think its the problem but...

Did you play a Quicktime or Real Media file? Becuase its a known issue that MPC-Status doesn't work for those formats.

Thats pretty weird.
I use the latest version of MPC, and it works fine.

Maybe you installed some weird codecs/splitters?

No, i try with Haali splitter and internal splitter / codecs and i have the same * no player running or no file opened :(

the file is an AVI with XviD + MP3

I take it your latest version is 6.4.9.0 of MPC?  Also, if you have installed Quicktime Alternative, don't use its shortcut, run MPC's .exe file to watch standard AVI's.

MPC is one of the programs that just works with gtsdll, so its hard to say why it isn't for you....

MPC 6.4.9.0, latest GTSdll. I can display AVI and even mp4 files without any issues. Definitly xVid and x264\h264 encodes.

me too

If I play a movie on zoomplayer it will display for gtsdll But if I play the same file with mpc it say no player.

I have mpc latest and lates gts

could it be something to do with cccp codec

cccp uses FFDshow, as far as i know? It worked here.

Which codecs are used in the files that fail displaying?

i'm using CCCP and MPC for few days by now and still works fine just like is suppose to.

I have the same problem - but for me, it's ZoomPlayer that GTSdll isn't detecting - for all videos.

It is working with MPC though (but this isn't my preferred video player :-().

GTSdll 1.2.7.1 R2
ZoomPlayer 4.51 Pro

ffdshow for most video & audio codecs.
Quicktime and Real Alternative.
Haali's media splitter for ogm and mkv; the standard splitter with windows for avi.

Now, that is weird.

I've never heard of any problems regarding zoomplayer support :(

Splitters etc. shouldn't matter in case of ZoomPlayer support, since GTSdll gets the file infos directly from the ZoomPlayer API.
What OS are you using?
Maybe some anti-spyware-software or anti-virus-software?
If yes, try disabling them once and tell me the result ^^

Same Problem for me, MPC doesnt work "* no player running or no file opened"
zoomplayer & bspayer work fine, but they suck^^

Iam using Windows Vista Pre-RC1 5536 (maybe thats the problem?)
Latest MPC
Latest GTSDLL
StormCodec (unistall didnt help, so thats not to blame for my error)

anyway its great work :)
