I have installed the plugin correctly. However when i command it to reveal winamps audio status, it only shows the song name and author. No reference to album or year.
any help would be nice :). also doesnt show the track no. but that aint a big deal

That sounds like you didn't configure the Winamp directory correctly, please take a look at the thread Winamp 5.20 and GTSdll.

If that doesnt solve it, please note that the information displayed depends on the theme you use.
So switchting to another theme might help.

Sounds like you havent told GTSdll where winamp.exe is :)

I have the same problem with the foobar plugin for version 0.9 using Foobar2000 v0.9.1. The album and track number fail to show under any theme I select.

check the following thread:
Documentation - 5.3 Howto - Setting Up GTSDll v1.x With foobar2000

GTSdll support for foobar is limited. However, if you setup the foobar plugin correctly, it will display what you want.
