How bout a little support for VLC media player? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like this, I think you'd all like it too. Wouldn't ya, don't lie to me, I'm sensitive.  :(

I tried it once, and i failed. The VLC website didnt say anything about support for external applications. And i couldn't figure out a way to get stuff like "filename" of it.

I may try again when i'm done with GTSdll v2 though.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I thought its better to take an old thread, then to make a new one...
I use VLC player too and I would also be very thankful for a VLC plugin ^^

Well I don't know, If you really can't figure out how to get the infos from the player.. maybe you could try asking the people of VLC? I think a support for VLC would be really nice ^^

It's not a question of difficulty. We are simply not working on v1 anymore, aside from minor adjustments and fixes.

I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death, Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons, Yet those hands will never hold anything.

So as I pray... Unlimited Blade Works.

The simple method I use to output my VLC playing status in IRC can be found here

Maybe this code/concept could help ease your future integrations. Love your script btw.

Cheers
